Homemade strawberry lemonade popsicles. YUM!!
At this time I have dabbled in several flavors for toddler homemade popsicles, and this has by far been the favorite!
I let my toddler play his role in helping make them. He is MISTER independent these days, and has a love to help us anyway that he can. It makes it the perfect summer treat and a fun activity!
Shopping List
- Popsicle molds (Mine are from the Dollar Tree, but you can find them at Target/Walmart/ or Amazon)
- Strawberries
- Lemons (for additional tartness)
- Country Time Lemonade Powder (I make the two courts and add a little extra powder)
Directions
- Pre-sliced strawberries and interior of the lemon place in a separate dish.
- Have a pitcher of mixed lemonade (I generally like to have it sit in the fridge for a few hours allowing it to dissolve all the way and chill to have a glass while making the popsicles).
- Start by placing raw ingredients into each tube/ holder and follow by adding the liquid lemonade.
- Once each tube is filled to your liking place the lid/popsicle holder in the slot.
- Freeze overnight, and ready to enjoy the following day.
Enjoy a nice refreshing treat on these hot summer days, and a fun activity with the little’s.
My Mother always made these for us growing up, and the neighborhood kids always loved them. It made our home the place to be after a long bike ride or running throughout the neighborhood.
Tag us with your creations, and your little’s enjoying them at #SSM or #SimplySouthernMama
