DIY Fourth Of July Centerpieces

We love decorating for the holidays, but at times we find it hard to store the items all year for only a week of celebration. Often finding ourselves throwing the decor away after the holiday.

That is why we found three inexpensive ways to spruce up your table for the upcoming holiday!

Mason jars, easy to find and easy to decorate. We found by painting one Red, the other Blue, and another White. It makes an adorable centerpiece that you can use as silverware for your party, or our favorite, turning them into planters to highlight the beautiful colors and flowers!

You only need a paint brush, three large mason jars, and red, white, and blue paint. Along with what you desire to fill your mason jar up with.

Second option is to make rice candles. Sounds cooler than it is, but it makes for a simple cute colorful centerpiece.

All you do is take two bags and place white rice into each of the bags and add red food coloring to one, and blue food coloring to the other. Mix it around until the rice is turning colors, and then open the bag to allow it to air dry.

After the rice has dried, take three small glasses and start by adding a layer of your red rice, then white (uncolored white rice), and ending it with the blue rice. Finish it by placing a tea candle in the center.

It makes for a simple yet colorful centerpiece.
