Do you even live in the South if you have not dabbled in a Sweet Tea Recipe?
There is nothing like a hot summer day, in the pool with a big glass of iced cold sweet tea.

Shopping List:
- 6 Tea Bags (Black Tea/ Standard Bags)
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 2 Cups Hot Water
- 6 Cups Cold Water
- ⅛ TSP Baking Soda
- Lemon Slices for Garnish
Instructions
- Pour two cups of hot water into a two quart pitcher.
- Add six tea bags, and steep for approximately fifteen minutes.
- After fifteen minutes remove and discard the tea bags.
- Now add the baking soda and the sugar to the tea, and stir well until it is well dissolved.
- Add the six cups of cold water, and stir.
- Place the pitcher in the refrigeration, and once it is cold – it’s time to serve with ice.
Optional to add lemon slices as a garnish.
